Out For Recess is for the parents raising children who may struggle to believe in themselves.

whether their child feels overlooked, battles low self-esteem, or dreams so big that others call them unrealistic.

We exist to help reinforce the confidence, creativity, and imagination already living inside every child. Through encouragement, representation, and meaningful apparel, OFR serves like a positive big brother and big sister program — because sometimes a child may not always listen to a parent as the voice of reasoning, and may need that extra encouragement from a relatable voice, mentor, peer, or role model they can connect with.

At OFR, we proudly operate as that extra voice — helping navigate those messages through the words engraved into our garments. As many elders would say, “it’s like putting the candy inside the medicine.” As a community-based brand, we understand that sometimes our children simply need a little extra motivation, guidance, and reassurance. Because at the end of the day, it truly takes a village to raise a child.

That is why OFR exists — to remind kids that their ideas matter, their voice matters, and their dreams are possible. At OFR, we believe opportunities in life are endless when a child learns to believe in who they are.
